Cute

Lauren and Emily came to visit. Lauren was friendly and liked Grandma. She liked to snuggle up with me on the sofa. She had fun with Macey, too. We went to Ben and Shannon's for Macey's birthday. She's a character! For some reason, I can't get the two videos I wanted to share to load. Sorry about that!

Spring

Although we still have at least a foot of snow on the ground, some people around here think it will be gone by the end of the week. It has been pretty warm and is not supposed to be much below freezing, even at night, this week.

In the yard yesterday, I noticed some bulbs poking their little shoots up through the ground. Spring is coming! I desperately need spring this year. It's a season of hope, of brightness, of light.

It's been a tough two weeks for our family. As hard as it's been, I can't imagine how it must be for those who don't have a knowledge and testimony of the gospel. I'm especially thankful for the power of the priesthood. Thank you all for your faith, prayers, and support.
