Productivity at home

In an effort to point out that while I do not get paid and do sometimes look out the window and check Facebook, I can occasionally do something productive, I present Exhibit 1. I made these as handouts for my visiting teachees this month. They are little purses (obviously to go along with Self-Reliance and staying out of debt.) There is a quote from the lesson on the inside flap and they contain 5 chocolate coins, each with one of Elder Wirthlin's 5 points on them. It only took me 45 minutes to make all 5. The ladies thought I was amazingly creative and clever. Haha...shows what they know!

Wow, you visit teach 5 ladies? Or did you make an extra purse for Janet to add to her collection?

I visit teach 4 plus one for my companion, of course. If I thought Janet would use it, I'd be glad to make her one.

Wow, I'm impressed! Those are really cute! Where did you find the pattern? (Or are you super creative and made it up yourself?)
