Well, Janet's basketball season is over. They lost last night in the sectionals to Marshfield, who has a very good team. It's been a great year. It has been fun to watch Janet as she has played and served as a captain of the team. One of the things that has made this season so memorable is that so many friends have turned out to support her. Last night at the game, there were 19 of our friends from church there to see her play and Rene's friend Tim from work. It's just so much fun to share it all with others. Janet has been blessed with good friends, too. Her friends Jodi and Casie have come to most of the games, including some of the out of town ones. This week, they have done some special things for Janet. On Tuesday night, they came over and brought her two cakes. One was a basketball and one was her jersey with her number on it. Then, for the game last night, they made special t-shirts. I've included the pictures here. It's a little hard to see, but the front says "She shoots, she's Scoresby." The back lists a whole bunch of stuff Janet enjoys. It was sweet of them. Jodi also took most of the pictures of basketball that I've posted on the blog.
